Hello everyone. Well, I suppose that some of you are wondering why I have a new place to blog. The reason being is that I wanted to have more control over my blogsite and I felt that going with WordPress was the right solution. I personally got annoyed that Xanga kept asking me to login to keep my Xanga domain name. I figured that since I paid for it already, I shouldn’t have to keep logging in to keep it (at least not until my subscription ran out.) Of course, I will miss the folks that I met on Xanga and I hope that they are open to visiting me here on this new blog.
Of course, I really should have been posting more often. I understand that content updates are needed to keep a blog interesting. I’m hoping that my new site will afford me the ability to do more frequent updates. You will see that the site will be undergoing some maintenance to get it to the right point, but for now, it is up and operational.
Really no other changes other than a cleaner looking site, no ads, and no harassing from site admins to keep logging in and making updates (here, I’m the admin - ha!) I figure I have no one but me to blame if the only person who reads this site is me (and my wife - I hope!!?)
All in all, this is still a place to see what I’m up to, and please feel free to leave your comments here as well. I’m looking forward to seeing more of you on here in the future. Take care.

Groovy blog, Honey! Looking forward to your future posts!
Welcome to Wordpress! That’s what I’ve been using for about a year now, and I’m still liking it. BTW, my new Nikon D300 finally arrived on Friday! Yay!!! I used it for the first time yesterday, for an outdoor and an indoor shoot. Boy, it’s going to take some practice to get used to it because I’ve been using my Canon Rebel XTi for 1.5 years.
Thanks for dropping by the new blog. I really like the new style and think it will serve me better that one that is too cluttered. @msb: The D300 is a great camera and it’s going to help you get those once-in-a-lifetime photos - I’m sure you’re going to love it.
I have some new images that will be going up soon, so stay tuned!
