Beautiful People Tend to Produce Beautiful Photos

I’ll be honest, when you have an opportunity to photograph beautiful people, you usually get wonderful images. Then again, who isn’t beautiful on their wedding day? Over the past week I had the great opportunity to photograph two wonderful couples: Regina and Brent, and Cassie and Greg. They were all in great spirits and proved to be ready to display not only their love for each other, but a passion for photography as well.

We had an opportunity to travel throughout San Francisco and the rest of the Bay Area for our sessions. We found both the great wilderness and the urban city to be our playgrounds. I worked along with two fantastic hair and make-up people - Jennifer and Debbie. They did an incredible job getting the couples ready, and to ensure that they all looked amazing for our photo sessions. It was such a pleasure working with them. Jennifer was also kind enough to travel along with me and even offered to be my voice-activated light stand! :) She was great. Last but certainly not least, my great friend and fellow photographer colleague, Dawn Shields, helped to coordinate the sessions and let me enjoy the pleasure of photography. Dawn, I owe you!

I hope you enjoy these images, and I will be adding others as I have time. Also, for all of you USA folks out there, have a wonderful 4th of July and I’ll be back after the holiday with a post regarding some techniques used for the photos below. Take care.

Michael Nice work. I really like the shot at the top of the bride and groom sitting together with the groom singled out. Very Nice Shot!

@TiML - Hi TiML, thanks for your comments. They were really easy to work with, and I didn’t want the groom to think it’s only about the bride ;). I’m working on more images of this couple and will be posting that soon. Thanks for coming by.
