Taekwondo Fighters | Gold Medal Martial Arts | Foster City

Kyle in his fighting face

Kyle in his "fighting face"

Heh, OK, so maybe they are not true Olympic Gold Medalists, yet, but they are on their way through training with a true 1992 Barcelona Olympic Gold Medalist, Master Herb Perez and his incredible staff of trainers at the Gold Medal Martial Arts Center.  For me, working with children and teens is a blast since they have no problem letting you know what is on their mind. They also have no problem telling you that they “don’t like to smile.” Now, that is not often the case, as many of these young athletes were happy to smile and then give me their “fighting face.” There were also those very cute toddlers who were just happy to be there and smile as their parents cheered for them from behind my camera. Here are a few photos from my sessions there.

December 8, 2009 - 9:34 am Yoshi - Kids are incredible. They look as if they are the future of Taekwondo martial arts, and they are. What they need is proper guidance and information on the various martial art equipments like protective gears, training gears, martial art weapons and their importance. This could help in understanding the importance of the art which helps in self defense.
