Pixar | Motorama 2009 Auto Show | Emeryville, California

Ferrari and Luxo Jr. at Pixar Motorama 2009

Ferrari and Luxo Jr. at Pixar Motorama 2009

Pixar Studios holds an event every year called the Motorama. I believe that they have held this event for the past eight years, and I have been able to attend the last three events. I have a good friend who works for Pixar (hey, Marty!), and he always remembers to invite me to the Pixar special events. There was a band playing some tunes along with some great lunch food, and of course, a lot of cool cars. They are either owned by employees or by special display from auto manufacturers or specialty auto dealers. There were all kinds of cars shown at Motorama, gasoline, hybrid, and diesel. Some of the cars were definitely performance based like the Ferrari’s, Audi’s, and Lotus. On the other hand, there were also electric or hybrid cars like the Tesla and the Fisker Sunset that were high performance and got great mileage (from electricity.) Some were older and had some unusual sentiment involved with them. Overall it was fun to see some of the personalities shown in the cars at the show. Enjoy the photos!
